Stephanía Sofía Vázquez Stegman (b. Asunción , Paraguay , 1992 ) is a Paraguayan model and beauty queen who won the Miss Supranational 2015 title in Poland.
Vázquez also won the title of Miss Internacional Paraguay 2011 , representing Paraguay at the Miss Internacional 2011 , and was second runner-up in the 2012 Reina Hispanoamericana pageant .
Stephania Stegman Career
At the age of 12, she was discovered in the waiting room of a sanatorium by Paola Hermann, a model with a long career and owner of one of the best agencies in the country.
From that day on, Stegman’s career was on the rise, until she became one of the most internationally recognized Paraguayan models.
In 2011, Stegman decided to apply to the pre-selection casting for Miss Universe Paraguay that year, remaining among the 18 official candidates for this contest.
On June 23 of the current year, the final gala of this event was held with the election of four queens who would represent Paraguay in international contests ( Miss Universe , Miss World , Miss International and Miss Earth ), where Stephanía was Miss International Paraguay.
After having won the title of Miss International Paraguay , Stephanía travels to the People’s Republic of China to participate in the 51st edition of Miss International.
On the final night, the Ecuadorian Fernanda Cornejo was the winner, however, Stephanía did not qualify.
Stegman was appointed by Promociones Gloria to represent her country in the Reina Hispanoamericana 2012 pageant held in the Bolivian city of Santa Cruz.
On October 25, 2012 , the final gala of this event was held, where Stephanía was the second runner-up, she also obtained the title of Miss Photogenic and Chica Amaszonas.
In 2015, Paraguay decided to send Stephanía as its representative to the Miss Supranational of that year.
The event took place on December 4 in the city of Krynica-Zdrój in Poland , where Stephanía managed to be crowned Miss Supranational 2015.
She was thus the first Paraguayan to win a grand slam beauty pageant .
During her reign, Stephanía managed to travel to multiple countries, including Poland , Bolivia , Ecuador , Colombia , France , the United States , Burma and India.
