On Tuesday, October 4, Soberekon filed a defamation lawsuit against the artist Harrison Okiri, better known by his stage name Harrysong, seeking N500 million in damages.
Harrysong had previously claimed that Soberekon had attempted to kill him in the past and said he had proof to back up his claims.
During an interview for the Frankly Speaking podcast, which is co-hosted by comedian Nedu, Okiri made this accusation.
Harrysong identified Soberekon as his adversary who had tried to assassinate him in the talk show that was released on Monday (Harrysong).
Soberekon responded to the accusation by filing Harrysong with a defamation notice via his attorneys.
Soso Soberekon demanded a retraction of the remark, an apology, and N500,000,000 in damages in the notification.
