Early Life
Olanrewaju Michael Afolabi Teriba popularly known as Atorise was born on May 13, in Ogun State, Nigeria.
He was born to Pa late Samuel Oladimeji Awomosu Teriba (father) and late Prophetess Mrs Hannah Atinuke Teriba (mother).
Career
Lanre Teriba started his career as a member of the Kegite Club, a socio-cultural club while in school.
Lanre Teriba tried securing a job after graduation, but couldn’t. He started his career as a gospel musician in 1998. During this period, he met a music promoter, Tunde Olokodana. Olokodana.
In 2000, Lanre Teriba came to the limelight after he released his debut album titled Atorise (Reformer).
Lanre Teriba has released over 17 albums since he came to the limelight in the music industry.
Lanre Teriba is one of the most travelled gospel musicians in Nigeria with tours across multiple countries in Africa, North America and Europe.
Lanre Teriba was awarded Gospel Artist of the Year in the City People Music Award.
Education
Lanre Teriba attended Christ Centre primary school, Ilupeju, Lagos State, and Estate Grammar School Oshodi, Lagos.
Lanre Teriba attended Federal Polytechnic, Offa in Kwara State where he studied accounting.
