Early Life
Kola Boy was born on the 2nd of May 1997 to the family of Mr. and Mrs. Chinonso in Enugu, southeast Nigeria.
He completed his secondary school education at ST. Charles Lwanga College, Enugu. Then he proceeded to the Institute of Management Technology (IMT), Enugu for his higher education.
Career
Kolaboy started making songs while still in secondary school. He would make beats with his locker and sing freestyles with his friends in school.
He started his career as a professional musician while in the tertiary institution and has released a series of songs since then.
In 2018, he featured popular Nigerian singer Harrysong in his new single ‘They didn’t catch me’.
He released his debut EP ‘Storyteller’ in 2020. StoryTeller EP is an 8 track EP that features Nigerian musicians like Zoro, Masterkraft and Wonder J.
In 2021, he featured SlowDogg in his new single ‘Debit alert’.
Kolaboy has collaborated with a series of musicians including Ugoccie, Slow Dogg, Harrysong, Wonder J, Zoro, Masterkraft and many others.
Education
Kolaboy obtained his SSCE certificate from St. Charles Langwa College in 2013.
He proceeded to study at the Institute of Management and Technology (IMT), Enugu.
