Rev. Daniel C. Okoh is the president of the Organization of African Instituted Churches, general overseer of the Christ Holy Church International (also known as Nation Builders), and a former vice president of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
In July 2022, Daniel Okoh won the presidency of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).
The country’s top Christian organization, CAN, is made up of five blocs. He held the post for the first time among members of the OAIC bloc of the Christian Association of Nigeria.
Early Life and Education
On November 12, 1963, Okoh was born in Kano to Christian parents. He is a native of Ndoni in Rivers State, Nigeria’s Ogba/Egbema/Ndoni Local Government Area.
He earned a degree in political science and education with a second class upper division from the University of Port-Harcourt in 1988.
He then received a diploma in theology from Christ Holy Church Seminary in Onitsha.
Since then, he has participated in numerous seminars and courses that are pertinent to his ministry work in Nigeria and overseas.

He leads his denomination in ecumenical relations with other denominations in the body of Christ as the General Superintendent of Christ Holy Church International, an African Independent Church, and engages in dialogue with followers of other faiths for harmonious coexistence and long-term development.
Most Rev. Daniel Okoh has held the following roles for more than 20 years while actively participating in ecumenical relations and interfaith discourse both inside and outside of Nigeria: International Chairman of the Organization of African Instituted Churches (OAIC), National President of the OAIC (Nigeria Region) from 2005 to 2014, National Vice-President of the Christian Association of Nigeria (2007–2013), former member of the Board of Directors of the Inter-Faith HIV/AIDS Coalition of Nigeria, Member of the Governing Council of Good News Theological College and Seminary Accra, Ghana, Member of the Nigeria Inter-Religious Council (NIREC), and Board Member of the
Additionally, he serves on the board of Christian Solidarity Worldwide (Nigeria).
He served as the sole African representative on the International Forum on Multicultural Ministry’s steering committee from 2000 to 2003.
The International Forum on Multicultural Ministry was created and sponsored by the World Council of Churches’ Mission and Evangelism Team.
Archbishop Daniel Okoh was one of the six delegates who represented the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) in the area of politics and governance at the National Political Reform Conference of 2005, which was hosted by the Federal Government of Nigeria.
Rev. Daniel Okoh served as an institutional representative of the Christian Association of Nigeria on the board of the National Orientation Agency (NOA) from 2009 to 2011.
