The South African-born actress Busisiwe Lurayi is best known for portraying Tumi Sello in the Netflix drama series How to Ruin Christmas.

In the SABC1 sitcom City Ses’la and its spin-off series Ses’Top La, Busi Lurayi played the lead character Phumzile from 2005 to 2006 and again in 2010.
